In 2022, Circonus formally announced the Circonus Unified Agent, affectionately referred to as CUA (pronounced “see-you-eh”). CUA enables customers to collect telemetry data from over 300 different technologies via an ever-growing assortment of input plugins. To support this new agent, I developed a logo which leverages the font and colors from the Circonus logo mark.
For the CUA icon, I endeavored to portray the array of input plugins which compose CUA as well as the assemblage of data by those plugins. The graduated dots communicate this coalescence as well as reflect the shape of the original Circonus icon. The icon for CUA can be used with or without the accompanying wordmark and tagline.
The CUA logo is currently featured within the Circonus product, during the agent selection process. Below, I illustrate how the logo might be applied to various clothing and products.
